About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut granite slabs to precise specifications.
- Operate CNC machines and hand tools for granite fabrication.
- Polish and finish granite surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance.
- Collaborate with designers and installers to ensure project accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance.
- Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in granite fabrication or stoneworking.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork mentality.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Today, we are one of the largest architectural millwork shops in Central Florida, providing high-quality work to numerous residences and building contractors throughout the state.
Originally established in 1991 by James Vargas, J.V. Installations Corp. now has more than 30 full-time employees. Our 18,000+ sq. ft. facilities located in the heart of Downtown Orlando house our cabinet shop and stone department, along with a showroom and our administrative offices.
Throughout our 25+ year history, we have worked on a wide-range of projects for different industries, some of which include: Hotels, Theme Parks, Assisted-Living Facilities, Country Clubs, Convention Centers, Airports, Colleges, and Restaurants.
Specifically, we have worked on projects such as: JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton at Orlando Grande Lakes; Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens and Sea World; Westgate Resort and Trump National Doral; Orange County Convention Center and Orlando International Airport; as well as Darden and Levy Restaurants, and many, many more.
